CHALLENGES
Rucking Fitness Challenges
are a series of structured outdoor fitness activities that integrate the long-standing military technique of moving over a distance while carrying weighted backpacks. Participants are organized into teams and tasked with completing a designated distance ruck, carrying the set weight for the specific challenge level, and performing team-based functional fitness tasks along the route.
These events are designed to be cooperative team challenges rather than competitive races, ensuring that all participants start and finish together as a cohesive group, with continuous support and motivation provided by instructors and fellow participants throughout the event.
The Rucking Fitness Challenge
aims to enhance physical and mental well-being while fostering social connectivity through teamwork and camaraderie. Our various event levels accommodate all fitness abilities, offering three distinct tiers of difficulty—Foundation, Intermediate, and Advanced—each held as a separate event. The primary goal is to create a stimulating, enjoyable, and supportive environment where participants can improve their physical and mental resilience by leveraging the scientifically proven benefits of outdoor exercise and the power of working together as a team.

A welcoming and supporting group that supports each other. Ideal for beginners.
INTERMEDIATE

6-9 Miles
This challenge provides a more intense workout and is great for leading to being an advanced Rucker.
ADVANCED

APPROX 3-4HRS
10-15 Miles
This level demands exceptional
endurance and strength. With a longer and heavier Ruck this is for the advanced Rucker.

The plate workouts are an added bonus, and there’s always a new route, workout or event that keeps it fun and challenging. All the ruckers are lovely and welcoming, and there’s always a great atmosphere, even on the wet and windy days.
